The Lion and The Mouse
Once upon a time, in the heart of a vast jungle, there lived a mighty lion. His roar could be heard from miles away, and all the animals respected and feared him. One day, while the lion was taking a nap under a shady tree, a tiny mouse happened to scamper across his paw. Startled by the sudden disturbance, the lion woke up with a mighty roar. The mouse trembled with fear, realizing it had accidentally disturbed the king of the jungle. The lion's sharp eyes glared down at the tiny creature, ready to pounce and end its life. "Please, Your Majesty," squeaked the mouse, "forgive me! I did not mean to disturb your rest. I am but a small creature who poses no threat to you." The lion, amused by the mouse's bravery, decided to show mercy. He chuckled and said, "Little mouse, you are lucky today. I shall spare your life. Remember, it is unwise to disturb a sleeping lion." Grateful for its life, the mouse promised to repay the lion's kindness someday. The lion, amused by the thought of a tiny mouse helping him, didn't take it too seriously and let the little creature scurry away. Months passed, and one day, the lion found himself trapped in a hunter's net. The more he struggled, the tighter the net entangled him. His mighty roars for help echoed through the jungle. Hearing the lion's desperate cries, the tiny mouse recognized the familiar voice. Without hesitation, it hurried to the scene and saw the plight of the mighty lion. "Do not worry, Your Majesty," the mouse said. "I will gnaw through the net and set you free." The mouse fearlessly started nibbling on the ropes, using its sharp teeth to chew away. After much effort, the net finally gave way, and the lion was freed. Overwhelmed with gratitude, the lion looked at the mouse and said, "Dear friend, I underestimated your strength. You have proven that even the smallest acts of kindness can be powerful. Thank you for saving my life." From that day forward, the lion and the mouse became unlikely friends. They shared a bond built on gratitude and mutual respect, showing the other animals in the jungle that size and strength did not determine one's worth. Together, they roamed the jungle, helping those in need and spreading the message of compassion and friendship. And the legend of the lion and the mouse echoed through the ages, reminding everyone that even the tiniest creatures can make a significant difference in the world.

the wolf and the crane |
One day a wolf was eating the flesh of an animal it had killed. A little bone got stuck in his throat, and he was unable to swallow it. He soon felt severe pain in his throat and raced up and down, trying to find a way to ease it. He begged everyone he saw to help him. Finally, the wolf came face to face with the crane.
“Please help me,” the wolf pleaded. “I’ll give you exactly what you want.”
The crane agreed to give it a shot and instructed the Wolf to lie down on its side with its jaws spread as wide as it could. The crane then inserted its long neck into the Wolf’s throat and pulled out the bone. The crane then requested its reward.
“Be joyful,” the wolf added, grinning and showing his teeth. You’ve inserted your head into a Wolf’s mouth and then taken it back out safely. Scroll down to enjoy the next story with moral in English.
